Spotlight Award Winners 2019
December 2018: Kathy Campbell
Data Entry Specialist
“If there has ever been anyone that consistently goes the extra mile, that would be Kathy. Her professionalism and attention to detail are second to none as she attends to her many duties. Kathy has a multitude of tasks including counting, entering, tracking donations, keeping up with printed material orders, inventory, and gathering large quantities of printed resources for employees – often at the spur of the moment as they are headed out to make a presentation! Regardless of how busy she is, she is always willing to lend a hand, whether it be for reception coverage, All Staff set up or any number of things I have witnessed her helping with. All of these above and beyond her role. Kathy exemplifies patience and compassion. Since we share an office, I hear how she interacts with those who call to inquire about a memorial brick or leaf for their loved one. Her kind voice and thoughtful approach extend her empathy and care to these grieving callers. She carefully ensures she has every detail exactly as the caller specifies. I am honored to know Kathy as an exceptional co-worker and treasured friend and truly believe she is deserving of the Spotlight Award.”
January 2019: Francesca Reynaert
Social Worker
“Fran has been phenomenal as she covers Weld County. In such a short time she has mastered the area. She also has been extremely diligent in handling such a demanding caseload. Your average social worker would not have the gumption to accomplish the things that Fran has done. Pathways would suffer in her absence.”
February 2019: Jolene Flores
CNA
“Jolene is one of the most compassionate people I have ever worked with. She works in difficult facilities and always goes above and beyond to provide the care that our patients deserve. There are days that she doesn’t necessarily have the time to provide full care, but when she sees the patients have not received care from the facilities, she ends up spending the time they need to provide the dignity they deserve. It is an honor working with someone with so much heart and compassion.”
March 2019: Stephanie Grosskopf
Business Services Manager
“I have great respect for Stephanie and her management skills. She oversees the big picture of getting patients onto hospice and palliative care. She follows through as necessary to make sure patients and families get what they need. When necessary, she jumps in to help and coordinates schedules to ensure that the needs are being met- doing so in a calm manner. Sometimes, she is known as Mary Poppins because she can pull
tricks out of her bag! She thinks outside the box when it comes to getting visits covered. When there is a complex patient (recent example is a pediatric patient with IV infusion needs), she assists with the minuscule
details- giving heads up to the appropriate staff, looking ahead at ongoing visit needs, coordinating all the communication, etc. She helps ensure that staff at Pathways is safe at all times. During the “bomb cyclone” in March, she arranged to have appointments moved up so staff could be off the roads earlier than scheduled. The office moves went smoothly thanks to Stephanie’s oversight, guidance, and attention to details. Her leadership skills are truly an asset to Pathways. Stephanie fully lives the Pathways Way!”
