Pathways Celebrates World Labyrinth Day on May 1

by in Blog April 27, 2021

The Pathways Labyrinth is a unique outdoor feature designed for reflection in a quiet, peaceful setting. Every day, Pathways patients and members of our community use the space for personal meditation and contemplation.

But every year on May 1, the Labyrinth becomes a gathering place. Pathways staff, partners, volunteers and families experience the labyrinth collectively and walk the labyrinth together in honor of World Labyrinth Day.

On this holiday, people all over the world walk together at 1 pm local time, meaning that labyrinths worldwide are being used for a consecutive 24 hours. You’re invited to participate as Pathways participates in this global event!

  • What: Celebrate World Labyrinth Day with Pathways
  • When: Saturday, May 1 | 1-3 pm
  • Where: Pathways | 305 Carpenter Road, Fort Collins
  • RSVP: Not required

Feel free to come at any time from 1-3 pm to participate. The labyrinth is located to the east of the main Pathways building. Light refreshments will be served. We encourage participants to wear a mask and COVID-19 precautions will be in place. Learn more about the event here

This summer, the Pathways Labyrinth will be taken down to prepare it to be moved to its new home at the Pathways Inpatient Care Center. On Saturday, May 15, we will hold a farewell ceremony and ritual at the current labyrinth site at 1 pm. Stay tuned for more details on this event.
