Volunteer with Us!

Volunteering with Pathways may be one of the most fulfilling things you ever do. You will make a difference—one life at a time.

Pathways is currently looking for volunteers who would like to share their time and talents with our agency, our staff and our patients.

When you volunteer with Pathways, you join a circle of like-minded hearts and minds working together toward a greater purpose. Our volunteers are appreciated, not just for what they do, but for why they do it.

Volunteers truly are at the heart of Pathways care, providing support to patients, families and Pathways staff. Today, over 150 volunteers work in almost every department of Pathways.

Whatever your skills, interests and motivations, our communities are strengthened by your volunteer involvement. Scroll down to get started, and thank you!

“Volunteering for Pathways has been such a rewarding experience! I have been privileged to comfort many wonderful people during a very difficult time in their life through support and friendship. The folks I have worked with are so appreciative and I have valued the time I have spent with each and every one of them.”- Sandy Bailey (volunteer since 2009)

Honoring Veteran Volunteers

The We Honor Veterans Volunteer Program at Pathways offers many ways that community members can honor the service of our veterans at the end of life.

  • Veteran Companionship Volunteer: Special training is provided to all volunteers who work directly with veteran patients and families on the unique needs of our military service men and women. Special care is given to assign veteran volunteers to serve veteran patients, as this relationship can create a special bond.
  • Veteran Recognition Team: Pathways wants to ensure that our veterans get the acknowledgement they deserve for their service to our country. Towards this goal, the Recognition Team provides the following: Deliver Veteran Recognition Certificates, pins and service hats to all current veteran patients.
  • Veteran Garden: The Honoring Veterans Garden at Pathways is a contemplative and serene place to come and reflect on the incredible sacrifices of our military service men and women.
  • Veteran Outreach Volunteer: Volunteers help by providing outreach at community veterans events throughout northern Colorado.
