Pathways: Greeley Stampede Sponsor 2019
Pathways is thrilled to be a part of this year’s Greeley Stampede from June 25-July 7. The Stampede originated as a celebration honoring local northern Colorado potato farmers back in the 1800s and has grown into a 10+ day event enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of spectators. It now includes concerts, a parade, rodeos, entertainment, carnival attractions, car shows, and so much more! Pathways is excited to demonstrate its Greeley pride and spirit at the Stampede this year by sponsoring the event and the Hot Rods & Horsepower Classic Car Show on June 30.
The Hot Rods & Horsepower Car Show is sure to be spectacular. It’s brand new to the 2019 Stampede and is included with general Stampede Park admission. It’s on June 30 from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and is located on D Street, just south of the carnival. Pathways staff and volunteers will be there before, after, and during the show, so be sure to say hi!
Pathways will be present at the rodeos and concerts as well. The rodeos range from pro rodeos to kids level. The PRCA Rodeo Series extends from June 27-July 3 includes Bareback Bronc, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Saddle Bronc, Tie Down Roping, Mutton Bustin, Barrel Racing, and Bull Riding! Pathways volunteers will be assisting attendees on and off the courtesy shuttle to attend these rodeos.
This year’s concert lineup is remarkable! REO Speedwagon will kick things off on June 28, followed by Brett Eldredge on June 29, Kip Moore on July 4, Cody Johnson on July 5, and Brothers Osborne will be wrapping up the performances on July 6. Each year the concerts draw large crowds from all over Colorado.
While the ticketed events are very popular, those who are wanting to enjoy the carnival festivities are welcome to enter the park and join the fun at no cost. Food and rides are available at an additional cost.
Being a part of Weld County and the Greeley area is very important to those at Pathways. As northern Colorado’s leading hospice provider, we strive to be available to all, regardless of the ability to pay. To learn more about our Weld County services, click here.
