A Generous Gift
Pathways is so thankful for how supportive our community has been during this difficult and uncertain time. When we made an appeal last week to remember Pathways on #GivingTuesdayNow, so many of you responded generously. Of particular note was an incredible $10,000 donation we received from the Wilkins Charitable Trust.
This contribution will help with costs for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and to purchase iPads to assist families with telehealth/virtual visits. Elderly individuals, those with underlying health issues and those with impaired immune systems are the most at-risk for COVID-19 and its complications. This equipment is critical to keeping those patients, their families and our staff safe.
The Wilkins Charitable Trust has given for 20 years to the Fort Collins and surrounding community. Their recognition of the work we’re doing to sustain life-enhancing care for individuals and families facing a life-limiting illness during COVID-19 is uplifting.
Fully living our mission means providing services above and beyond what insurance reimburses us for, such as music therapy and our extensive community grief counseling program. Generous contributions from the Wilkins Charitable Trust and other members of our community make it possible to provide this level of care.
