Walking Together for Alzheimer’s Awareness

This past weekend, Pathways team members joined community members from across Larimer County for the Larimer County Alzheimer’s Walk.

For Pathways, participating in community events like this is an important part of who we are. Our work brings us alongside individuals and families during some of life’s most challenging moments, and Alzheimer’s and dementia affect many of the families we serve.

The Alzheimer’s Walk provided an opportunity to stand alongside caregivers, families, advocates and community partners who share a commitment to raising awareness and supporting people affected by the disease.

Community connections matter. They help us better understand the experiences of the people around us, strengthen partnerships and remind us that supporting individuals and families extends beyond the services we provide. It also means showing up, listening and being part of the community.

We’re grateful to the Pathways team members who participated in this year’s walk and represented our organization with pride. We’re also grateful to everyone who came together to walk, volunteer, donate and raise awareness.

Together, we can help create a community where people living with Alzheimer’s and dementia, as well as the people who care for them, feel supported and connected.

Pathways is proud to be part of the Northern Colorado community and to walk alongside our neighbors.
