Pathways Participates in the Oakbrook Senior Housing Resource Fair
There is something special about gathering together as neighbors, partners, and community organizations with a shared purpose: helping people live healthier, more supported lives.
Last week, the Pathways team had the opportunity to participate in the Oakbrook Senior Housing Resource Fair. Set against a beautiful summer afternoon, the event brought together local organizations dedicated to serving older adults and their families.
Resource fairs are about much more than distributing brochures or answering questions. They provide opportunities to build relationships, connect people with valuable services, and help individuals understand the many resources available within their community. Whether someone is planning ahead, caring for a loved one, or simply looking for information, having trusted organizations together in one place makes those conversations easier.
At Pathways, we believe that compassionate care extends beyond the patients and families we serve. It includes working alongside community partners who share our commitment to supporting people through every stage of aging and serious illness.
We are grateful to Oakbrook Senior Housing for hosting this event and creating a space where organizations can come together to educate, collaborate, and strengthen the network of care available to our community.
