Caregiver Pampering Days: T’ai Chi Chih

Program Description:

T’ai Chi Chih, a moving mindfulness practice, will enliven the natural energy from within the self to both calm the mind and energize the body. We will learn a simple practice of several movements and one pose. In addition, self-awareness through a short-guided meditation that connects the mind and body will open the session. You will be introduced to how to use the senses for healing and expanded awareness of the self.


JoEtta Heck has expanded her training as a registered dietitian to include mindfulness practices for self-healing through movement, stillness and awareness, via sensory aspects and related to the environment in which we live. Throughout her life journey, she has embraced the benefits of self-awareness to enhance her resilience to the challenges, as well as the pleasures encountered on her life’s path. Her journey is dynamic. Through the practice of many self-care rituals, she grows a life of joy, peace and equanimity.
